The village of Staffin remains an unspoilt haven for all our visitors. Facilities include two general stores, a post-office and petrol station.
The site is close to the Staffin Dinosaur Museum, Skye's internationally acclaimed collection of dinosaur fossils. To the North you will find the Skye Museum of Island Life, a unique experience and true insight into island life 100 years ago. Both museums a must for young and old.
Sea angling or traditional loch trout fishing is available at Storr Lochs.
Traditional ceilidhs are often held locally, as are the Highland Games and Pipe Band Festivals. The flora and fauna in this garden of Skye is a magnet for all the young walkers and the not so young!!
Trotternish Ridge gives the opportunity for both novice and experienced climbers to enjoy the panoramic views over Staffin Bay, The Western Isles and Wester Ross.
