Recent Update 23rd February Covid arrangements

February 23, 2021

The Government in Scotland has today updated their plans for easing of the current lock-down measures

Expected March 15th

  • Non-contact outdoor sport for 12 - 17 years can resume
  • Outdoor contact restricted to 4 people from 2 households

Expected April 5th

  • Stay at home restrictions lifted
  • Outdoor contact restricted to 6 people from 2 households
  • Further re-opening of retail as the current definition is expanded on essential purposes

Expected April 26th

  • Lock-down ends and the country moves back to a level-system with each moving down to level 3, with some limits for specific areas.

Level 3 meaning

  • Travel: no non-essential travel into or out of an Area 3, except for essential work, education, shopping, health, outdoor exercise, weddings and funerals, and transit through to other areas.

News : While hospitality venues could open 26th April during the last phase, domestic tourism, including campsites and caravan parks, was not specifically mentioned during the road map announcement. The final phase includes a move back to Level 3 restrictions. In the last Level 3 category travel restrictions remained in place. People were only allowed to make journeys outside their own council area for essential reasons. It remains unclear whether people will be able to travel to stay on campsites in late April. The SG will issue further details in Mid-March.

Note all deposits are refundable due to Covid restrictions.
