The site offers -
Location - In Staffin overlooking the Hebridean Minch, about 20 minutes North of Portree
Pitches - Hard standing and grass pitches with electric hook-up EHU for motorhomes, campervan, caravans and tents
Facilities - Toilets / showers, laundry, a small hot food outlet, and a bothy for shelter if the weather is bad
Season 2026 - Open from 2nd April to 30th September (Tents from late April)
Nearby Highlights - An Corran beach (dinosaur footprints) the Quiraing, Trotternish Ridge and coastal walks directly from the site

Set beneath the romance of the Trotternish Ridge with views over the Hebridean Minch, Staffin Campsite offers a warm welcome to that Highland getaway, holiday retreat, for both young and old. The site also has a two bedroom, holiday cottage, which sleeps 4, and a traditional croft house which sleeps 6. All linen is included.
Staffin is situated 16 miles north of Portree.
When you arrive on Skye, travel 40 minutes to the town of Portree climbing North on the A855 for 16 miles passing the 'Old Man of Storr 'and the kilt rock with views over the Hebridean Minch.
Staffin sits amongst some of the most rugged, yet breath-taking and beautiful scenery on the island. The Trotternish Ridge sets a back-drop to the campsite while the Hebridean Minch cuts through the beauty of the peaceful highland retreat close to Staffin Bay.
The site has modern toilet facilities with free hot showers and hair drying facilities along with laundry facilities and a small campers bothy.
